A road becomes a market.

The Department of Tourism describes the Harrison Road night market as a major Baguio draw, known for ukay-ukay, souvenirs, crafts and street food.

Its value is not only low prices. It is a livelihood space and a nightly piece of the city center—so bargain fairly, keep aisles moving and leave no litter.

Three lanes of attention.

Clothes & finds

Check seams, zippers, stains and size. Ask before opening wrapped goods and keep selected items with the correct vendor.

Food & heat

Choose busy stalls with active cooking, protected ingredients and clean utensils. If you have allergies, ask directly and be ready to skip.

Crowd & weather

Move with the lane, watch bags and children, and prepare for cold rain. Agree on a meeting point before entering.

Your exit matters as much as arrival.

Late public transport is not identical to daytime service. Decide whether you will walk to lodging, queue for a taxi, or use a ride service before you start shopping.

Harrison Road closures and special events affect drop-off and pickup points. Use a well-lit landmark away from moving traffic.

Plan both directions

Before you go

Is the market really in Adtugan?

No. The mapped attraction is on Harrison Road in Baguio City, beside the Burnham Park and Melvin Jones area. The frozen regional label is incorrect.

What time does it open?

The Department of Tourism says vendors typically set up around 9:00 PM. Current map listings often show 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM, but city operations, weather and events can change this.

Is there an entrance fee?

There is normally no admission ticket. Purchases and transport are separate.

How long should I allow?

Plan about one to two hours for browsing and food, longer when crowds move slowly.

Can I pay by card?

Do not rely on card or mobile payment at every stall. Carry small Philippine-peso notes and keep cash secure.

What if it rains?

The market may still operate, but conditions and closures vary. Bring a compact rain layer and wear shoes with grip.
